Shadow's Story...
Shadow is a very sweet and friendly boy. He had no idea why his family took him to the shelter one day? Shadow is just the latest casualty of this tragic economic crisis. l always wonder how anyone could give up on one of their dearest friends? I pray I am never in that situation!! Shadow does well with other dogs, cats, and children. He is housetrained, loves walks, and generally spending time with people. We estimate his weight at 45-50 lbs,and he is 5-6 years old. We had him neutered, vaccincated and treated for parasites. If you arel ooking for a quiet boy, with a lot of love to give, and 'pep in his step', but not all the 'Puppy Business', Please consider adopting Shadow. He is a wonderful dog!! Read upon Standard Poodles, he will require grooming, which is a constant expense... feeding a large dog is not cheap either. Please make sure you are ready for the commitment associated with Shadow's adoption. He needs a second chance, and wants a permanent place to call home. Please e-mail us for an adoption application. Adoption fee $250.00.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shadow, a Baltimore Standard Poodle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Standard Poodle for sale in Baltimore, or seeking a Standard Poodle dog from a breeder in Baltimore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baltimore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baltimore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Standard Poodle breeders who help with Standard Poodle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baltimore paves the way for another one to be saved.
