Boar-iz tossed his old farm life behind and has quickly adapted to a home setting. With more focus and attention, could very well adjust to house living full time. He’s a quick learner, very gentle and litter trained. He is not destructive and absolutely loves attention! He is very social, people oriented and has great communication skills. He has been around cats and dogs without conflict.

We are estimating his age at around 6 – 8 months, so it is very likely he could grow more. We also estimate he weighs 160+ lbs. We believe his breed to be a Large Black. The Large Black is listed by the American Livestock Conservancy as critical. The Large Black Hog Association is making great progress in protecting this breed from extinction. All research states this is a fantastic breed and are difficult to come by.

An ideal setting for Boar-iz would be a warm, clean environment with access to a field or paddock to zoom around in. He would love to bask in the sun during warm months and most definitely needs to stay warm in the cold. He wants a family and to be part of someone’s daily routine. He is definitely an ambassador pig and should be showcased!
