Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Madison is a very lively, clever, intelligent little Jack Russell Terrier mix weighing in at about 17 lbs. She has a cute little impish face and a butt that wiggles for everything that is going on around her. Madison is super friendly, never meets a stranger and is the most excited greeter whenever you get home or someone comes by. We do have to advise "no cats" since she likes to chase after them with extreme focus ... she does, however, get along well with most dogs. Madison loves toys of all kinds (can sometimes be a little protective of them) especially squeaker toys and she loves to chew on her nylabones. She is crate trained, sleeps through the night like a champ and appears to be house-trained. Miss Madison was saved in the nick of time and although she did test positive for heartworms when we got her out of the shelter her treatment has been completed (maybe just a little more quiet time) and she is now ready to find her forever home. If you'd like a little wiggle butt to call your own please ask to meet Madison. You won't regret it. You can find out more about Madison by emailing info@habitat4paws.org.
**Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. For more on adoption policies, please see the "Adopt" page of our website, www.habitat4paws.org.
