Duke - CL Leslie Key West's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Duke - CL Leslie Key West's Story...
Duke is a very sweet and well natured dog with people (automatic wagging and love). Unfortunately, he and our first rescue are not getting along. He is a 4 year old male who has been neutered and is up to date on all shots and heart worm prevention medication. He does have a mild food allergy which was easily corrected with a hypoallergenic food. Duke needs to be in a single dog home, preferably with a fenced in yard. If you are interested in adopting Duke, please email us at adopt@thisisthedog.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duke - CL Leslie Key West, a Homestead Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Homestead, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Homestead.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homestead already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homestead breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homestead paves the way for another one to be saved.
