Miss Preston came into our lives a year ago. She is a beautiful 3 year old JRT. She was found running along Preston Road in Dallas by a kind lady who has a habit of rescuing dogs, but can't keep them in her apartment. We brought her home, and her sweet personality won us over. She joined our family of two standard poodles and two Jack Russell females. Everyone blended nicely at first. The poodles, basically still puppies themselves, played and romped famously with Preston, and still do. But eventually her charms wore off on Mickey, the wanna-be alpha bitch and she decided Preston was not welcome anymore. Soon scuffles ensued and it became apparent that the house could not happily exist with all its current housemates. So with heavy hearts we must send Miss Preston to her new loving home.
Preston is a true Jack Russell. She is active, tough and very intelligent. Spirited and very alert (SQUIRREL), she responds well to training, and sits, shakes, catches, releases and "goes to bed" (her crate). She will spend all day playing with her poodle buddies, outside or in, but would be just as content to spend the day sleeping in a your lap watching TV. And if you are cold at night, she is the best bed cuddler ever. She gets along fine with cats.
Preston will be THE one dog to make a special family happy and complete for the rest of her life.
