Clementine's Story...
A kind person let his dogs out in his backyard and found them barking at this tiny girl on the fence. He immediately grabbed her and took her to a neighbor that he knew was in rescue. She has been fostering this sweet girl for a few weeks now and can’t rave enough as to how sweet and socialized she is. Since her owners weren’t found we took this girl in to Paw Huggers in hopes of finding her forever home that will love and care for her properly and never leave her alone outside again!

We believe Clementine is about 3 months old and weighs about 3 pounds. She is very social, loves to play with other kitties and loves to snuggle! Her coloring is considered a diluted tortoiseshell and we think she is absolutely stunning!

**Clementine is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, FIV/FeLV negative and doing very well in her foster home. She is ready to find her family to complete her transformation. If our sweet girl sounds like a perfect match for your family, please email us at pawhuggers@gmail.com for more information or to complete an adoption application please go to www.pawhuggers.org, hover over the Adoptables tab and then click on Adoption Application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clementine, a Tomball Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tomball, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tomball.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tomball already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tomball breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tomball paves the way for another one to be saved.
