My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Marlow is a two-year-old neutered healthy male, possibly with at least partial lineage of Norwegian Forest and/or Maine Coon Cat. He is a quiet and pensive boy who found his way to the grounds of a historic home in NYC and has been cared for since he first turned up about eight months ago.

But now that winter has come, even a cat with a gorgeous coat of fur needs a home. Marlow is very neat with his food and litter box, and although he has only been in his current foster situation for a couple of weeks, he allows some brief, gentle petting.

He is a constant observer of all around him, and projects an air of wisdom, serenity, and thoughtfulness. During the day he likes to doze in the sink, and when he thinks that no one is watching -- because he has a lot of dignity! -- he really loves to play with his toys.
