Hershey's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Hershey's Story...
Hershey is an adorable, loving, 6 month old, 32 lb pup who would love to have his own family (and a doggie friend to play with) who would give him the attention and love he deserves and could continue to work with him on his training. He is a quick learner and is very food motivated.

He is neutered, current on vaccines, and heartworm tested. He is crate trained, walks well on a front-harness leash, and does very well in the car and in the house. He gets along with other dogs and loves to play in the snow. He has a gorgeous coat, long silky ears, and when he puts his head on your lap your heart will melt. He's a little shy with strangers but we are working on that. He looks like a pint-sized lab and we don't expect him to be very large.

If you have a fenced yard and you and your younger dog are looking for a new family member, please call Holly at 575-586-0784 for more on Hershey.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hershey, a Questa Labrador Retriever/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Beagle for sale in Questa, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Beagle dog from a breeder in Questa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Questa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Questa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Beagle breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Questa paves the way for another one to be saved.
