Twila's Story...
This energetic goofball is Twila and she is on the lookout for her loving forever home. Twila is a big girl but she is still a puppy so we will be collecting applications for review and then selecting the most appropriate home for her. She is a bouncy girl who doesn't always seem to know her own strength. She is very sweet and is always so happy to see people. Twila will need lots of exercise to be happy and would probably love to be someone's hiking buddy. We are requiring that Twila be signed up for positive, reward-based training classes before she goes to her new home. These classes will teach her some skills, help deepen her bond with her new people, and help socialize her. Twila is a little shy with other dogs at first but should do alright living with a laid-back canine companion. She hasn't shown much of a prey drive here, but given that she is part shepherd any cats in her new home need to be ridiculously confident so that they'll stand their ground with her. Twila needs any kids in her new home to be at least 10 years old so that they are big enough to handle her exuberance and strength. If you are interested in adopting Twila, please come to the front to fill out an adoption application for review today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Twila, a Bellingham Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
