Kaiser's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Kaiser's Story...
Meet Kaiser! He is a very happy one year old German Shepherd. He is a goofy guy that has lots of love to give. He loves to play with his toys and romp around the yard, and he will even visit you in the shower! He is doing well with basic training; he knows how to sit and lay down, and we are working on other commands. Kaiser does well with other dogs; he loves to play. He is very smart and would benefit greatly from obedience classes.

Kaiser has some medical needs such as allergies and joint issues. They are being treated with medication right now and he is responding well. He is in need of an active, loving family that will keep him healthy so he can continue to live a happy life.

**If interested please fill out an application on our website www.mendingheartsrescue.org and we can set up a time to meet them, as we are a foster based rescue**

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kaiser, a Rockford German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Rockford, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Rockford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rockford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rockford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rockford paves the way for another one to be saved.
