Sage's Story...
The name Sage, means wise one and our girl, Sage, is just that. She is a four month old Labrador/Golden Retriever mix that is super sweet and loving. Sage has a soft, gentle quality about her that everyone will love. She is content to play and explore yet she absolutely loves to be with her people. She would make an awesome family dog and would love to have some human kids to call her own.

**All Compassion in Action dogs must be adopted to families willing to have their pets be a part of their family and must be allowed inside—especially at night. No dog is allowed to be put on a “tie-out” or chain outside and should be walked on a leash when not in a fenced yard.

**All Compassion in Action dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on all vaccinations prior to adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sage, a Bedminster Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever for sale in Bedminster, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Bedminster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bedminster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bedminster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bedminster paves the way for another one to be saved.
