Delta is a force to be reckoned with, especially when she uses her 100-plus pounds to lead you where she wants to go. Delta is a young and unusually tall Rottweiler mix who retrieves toys with enthusiasm and exquisite manners. She responds well to commands including sit, leave it and wait and can be bribed into down with some treats. Delta is surprisingly bouncy and playful for such a formidable looking dog and she loves interacting with the handlers. Thankfully her bouncing is limited to enthusiastic hops in her own space with ne’er a paw laid upon a person – unless you ask for a paw and then you get the high five of your life. Delta is certainly not a dog for the frail or infirm and she has the ability to flatten a child or the uninitiated through bumping, leash pulling or just while leaning in for petting. She is affectionate once she is comfortable with a person and has a medium-plus energy level. Delta will do best with an active and attentive owner who has the common sense to realize that obedience training is the key to living with this Delta Force plus someone who has an understanding or experience with the Rottweiler personality. Delta is a larger than life kind of dog who is guaranteed to give you more bang, love and fun for your buck.
