Gracie's Story...
Gracie is about 2 years old and she is full of energy! She would fit in perfectly with an active family or person who loves to jog or hike. She would also prefer to be the only furbaby in the house so she can have all of your love and affection!
She is house and crate trained. She loves to play fetch, chew bones, and go for long walks around the neighborhood. She knows basic commands like sit, shake, down, and stay. She also knows how to sit and wait to eat her food. This girl is so sweet and LOVES to snuggle up on the couch. Please consider Gracie if you are looking for a new four legged family member, hiking buddy, or jogging partner!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gracie, a Raeford Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Raeford, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Raeford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Raeford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Raeford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Raeford paves the way for another one to be saved.
