My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Archer is a 4-6 year old neutered male Italian Greyhound who was found as a stray so we do not have any background information on him. He has a gentle sweet disposition and can run like the wind but he really loves to find a soft spot to watch the world go by. Archer is extremely timid and not a lap dog at all. He will approach people and tries to be friendly but skitters away when a hand is extended. Due to this, his owner will need to be a very experienced, patient person as it could take months for him to warm. Archer does love to go for walks and adores riding in the car. Archer has experienced a couple of seizures while in care with the rescue. They are infrequent and he has not been prescribed any medication for them at this time but a potential owner needs to be aware of this trait .
Archer needs someone who can take him in and make him feel comfortable and supported while he works through his fear issues. His gentle nature makes him a comfortable companion and we think in the right home that he will learn to trust in time.

**applicants must be in a 2 hr driving range from Toronto/Niagara area as we do home visits ourselves with our dogs.
