Pumpkin is one of the “special menu item” dogs at TriCounty Animal Rescue Center! This adorable 3-year old was surrendered as a short-haired Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix, but with her perky, little fox face, her pointy ears, and stubby little legs, Pumpkin looks like she could also have some Corgi in her mix. She’s a real dish of a dog! Pumpkin loves to be the center of attention, but sometimes when we peek inside her room we see a little leg and foot sticking out from underneath her dog bed and we know that Pumpkin is taking a time out. But if you sit quietly on the floor, this pretty little girl will hop in your lap before you know it--there’s only one thing Pumpkin wants in life more than anything and that’s a warm, soft human to curl up with and stay beside. If you’re looking for a dog companion but are not interested in a pit bull, a coonhound, or even a lab, see if Pumpkin suits your tastes. (Carry out only!)
