Goofy's Story...
Goofy is a sweet and friendly cocker mix. He weighs about 30 pounds and is almost seven years old. His parents are divorcing and they can't care for him any longer. He is neutered and up to date on his shots. Goofy gets along with other dogs and cats but would do best as the only dog as he is starved for affection. He absolutely adores children. So we are looking for a home for him with children and no other dog and with someone who works from home or where he isn't left alone for long hours. If you are interested please contact our rescue at for an application and more information to go meet this sweet boy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Goofy, a Toronto Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Toronto, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Toronto.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toronto already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toronto breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toronto paves the way for another one to be saved.
