My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sammie 2 is one adorable guy! Sammie is 13 yrs young and had lived his entire life on a chain. He is good with other dogs and cats. Sammie is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative and has a recent dental. As with all senior dogs, we don’t place in homes with very young children. Many of our dogs have been displaced due to issues involving young children.

APPLICATION AND HOME VISIT REQUIRED ADOPTION FEE $150
BLUEGRASS SENIOR DOG RESCUE ONLY FOSTERS/ADOPTS DOGS THAT ARE FULLY VACCINATED INCLUDING RABIES AND BORDATELLA AND ARE SPAYED/NEUTERED. ALL ANIMALS ARE MICROCHIPPED AND THE RESCUE PAYS THE REGISTRATION FEE. APPLICATION AND HOME VISIT REQUIRED. Bluegrass Senior Dog Rescue recruits individuals to foster our dogs on a temporary or long term basis. The rescue pays for all of the dog’s veterinary care and monthly preventatives for the dog while in foster care.
NOTE-Fosters must live within 100 mile radius of Georgetown KY.
