Parker's Story...
Hi! My name is Parker. I am about 1 year old and weigh around 45-55lbs. I was living outside in the cold and rain before I was rescued. I'm really loving my new life! I have a laid back personality and love ALL people. I have a low shed coat that is a beautiful silver/white. I am good in a crate and sleep on a dog bed at night in my foster mom's room. I would love to be in the bed, but I am a big dood! I get along with small dogs very well. My foster mom hasn't seen me with large dogs, but she thinks I would be fine. I also haven't met any cats. But I am super lazy so I bet I would be good to a kitty.

I am still working on potty training since I am just now getting neutered. But I am a fast learner. I wear a belly band in case I have an accident and mom didn't catch me.

My heartworm results are pending. So my date of travel hasn't been finalized yet

Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once
approved a meet and greet with the dog. Please note that preference is given to adopters in
Wisconsin, but out of state adoptions will be considered. Adoption fee is $250.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Parker, a Fort Atkinson Labradoodle/Goldendoodle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labradoodle/Goldendoodle for sale in Fort Atkinson, or seeking a Labradoodle/Goldendoodle dog from a breeder in Fort Atkinson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Atkinson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Atkinson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labradoodle/Goldendoodle breeders who help with Labradoodle/Goldendoodle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Atkinson paves the way for another one to be saved.
