Daisy Dukes's Story...
Why "Daisy Dukes"? Well....because she is a short britches! Daisy is a Dachshund/Bulldog mix...weird I know. She is definitely built like a Dachshund! Daisy loves to play with other dogs and snuggle with her people when she's ready. Daisy is learning to use puppy pads and is starting on housebreaking but is not housebroken yet. Daisy came to us after someone saw her being given away on a Facebook page. This sweet girl is about 9 weeks old, weighs about 3 pounds and is full of personality! If you'd like to add this sweet girl to your family please visit our website at www.goofyfootrescue.org and fill out an online application. Daisy Dukes is being fostered in West TN and will be transported once her adoption is finalized.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy Dukes, a Allentown Dachshund/English Bulldog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/English Bulldog for sale in Allentown, or seeking a Dachshund/English Bulldog puppy from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/English Bulldog breeders who help with Dachshund/English Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
