Gronk is a two year old Cairn boy who is named for Gronkowski the New England Patriots tight end. Gronk has had a tough start in life. The story is he was purchased in a pet store at the same time as his male litter mate. Both dogs were not neutered and apparently there was a lot of fighting going on so the dogs had to be kept separate. He lived mostly in his crate only going out to potty, drink and eat. His family listed him on a website as free to good home. One women took him and brought him back 12 hours later as she couldn't deal with him. Then another woman from a rescue saw him on the web . She drove several hours to get him. She was not able to keep him so she called in Colonel Potter and Gronk became one of the Potter family of rescued Cairns. Gronk arrived a week ago and I did not introduce him to my Cairns until after his neutering. After he was feeling a bit better I let them meet each other one at a time. There were a few little growls initially and now they are getting along just fine. He is a beautiful boy. I love him and think he will make a wonderful pet.
