Ari's Story...
Ari is a young Dante Dinmont mix that came to us from a local shelter where he was an owner surrender. Just 2 years old and 20 lbs with big brown eyes and thick, silky apricot hair, he's a real live teddy bear. Ari loves to cuddle, play fetch and play with his foster siblings in the yard and is a ton of fun to have around. Ari is very affectionate and leans into his foster mom to show his affection. Due to his size........ being that he's not too big or too small, Ari would enjoy being with a young family with children to play with, take walks with and snuggle up with at night. Ari has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and vet checked. Now ready for a home of his own.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ari, a San Diego Dandie Dinmont Terrier/Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dandie Dinmont Terrier/Maltese for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Dandie Dinmont Terrier/Maltese dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dandie Dinmont Terrier/Maltese breeders who help with Dandie Dinmont Terrier/Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
