Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Wrigley found stray in Galveston Co. He is taller than a standard beagle at 16 inches, but was so full of life and love that we couldn’t leave him there. Wrigley is about a year old and a slender 30+ pounds.
Wrigley has not had much training prior to joining the Houston Beagle Rescue family. Wrigley is very treat motivated and is very teachable with a yummy treat in hand. He is also all beagle and very scent driven. As of right now, Wrigley has springs for legs and has been known to steal a cookie from the counter on occasion, so care must be taken when leaving food (or anything!) out on the counters.
Wrigley is very sweet and loves to be picked up and held!! He also loves to play and has tons of energy!! He has never met a stranger and is also friendly with all dog types!! This young boy does not have a mean bone in his body. He has no treat, toy, or food aggression. Wrigley is the perfect fit for a home with active people and/or other active dogs. He also requires a very tall, secure fence and supervised outdoor time. Wrigley is a Houdini and will find holes or loose boards in the fencing and can spring over low lying fence lines.
Wrigley is a sweet, active boy who needs an experienced owner who can give Wrigley lots of TLC along with his training. Wrigley is lovable, cuddly, and has a heart of gold. Apply today to make him a part of your family!
