Sandy is sweet, gentle and beautiful 12 month old spayed female. We had her DNA tested and the results are in! Turns out Sandy is 50% Chow Chow/25% American Staffordshire Terrier/12.5%Doberman Pinscher/12.5% Asian Mixed Breed (which could include Alaskan Malamute, Shar-Pei, Chow Chow an Siberian Husky. All these breeds make loyal family dogs who are independent but respond well to reward based obedience training. They are engergetic and wtchful dogs with great strength and endurance.
She was surrendered to an inner city shelter with her brother, Lucas.
Sandy walks well on the leash, is mild mannered and knows some commands. She is a lovely pup who loves everyone that she meets and enjoys the company of other dogs but will need a home without cats.
Sandy also requires a home with a fenced in yard to run off her energy! This is a MUST, daily walks are not enough for this active girl! She would really enjoy having another dog her size in the home to play with.
