4 years old, 48 lbs, dog and cat friendly, loves people, housebroken!

Suzy is a girl that deserves her own Broadway musical. At 4 years old, Suzy endured more than her share of hardships. Who knows what her life before entering the kill shelter was like. However, we do know she entered the high kill southern shelter scared and suffering. She had large wounds on her front legs from being dragged behind a car. That's right, this girl saw the worst that human kind has to offer in that moment- who knows what else she has suffered. We are determined to show Suzy the light of human love and compassion and have that be all she ever experiences.

Since rescue, Suzy is doing so well and healing remarkably well (and fast!). She is learning to become one with her crate and use it as time to meditate and find inner peace. We see a future yogi in her! Suzy loves to be out and about in the house and gravitates towards cuddling with her schnauzer foster sibling- despite her foster sister being an elderly grump! Suzy can't help but want to experience love from all sides. Intuitive and smart, Suzy reads other dogs and their signals. Truly, she is a sweet and gentle soul. She acts as though life is continuously blossoming in front of her and there is only rainbows ahead!

Sweet, gentle, house broken, dog friendly, and a 48 lb mensch, Suzy is the perfect addition into any home. She doesn't jump up on us, the resident cat, or senior dog! She likes to curl up and snooze the day away.
