Alexis's Story...
**These adorable pups came to the shelter when their mom (see third pic above!) had a litter of seven pups. Mom found furever and now it's the puppies turn!**

Girls just want to have fun and so does Alexis! (A3853723) Alexis is a beautiful 7 week old brindle female who is waiting for a family of her own. She is playful and always on the go. She loves to be out of her pen and will tell you she’s ready for play time.

Alexis’ adoption fee is $100 which includes her spay surgery. We ask that you consider a microchip for $25 to protect Alexis in case she gets lost. Alexis will require her adopters to get her distemper parvo shots every 2-3 weeks until her immunity builds up. She will also require a rabies shot at 3 months old and a county license. Please remember, all puppies need patient training to help them become the best adult doggy they can be!

If you'd like to meet Alexis, call her foster mom April at: 602-501-6378

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alexis, a Phoenix Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher puppy from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
