Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Did you know honey bees communicate with one another by dancing? Mind blown? Ours were too. Except we had a sneaky suspicion something was going on because our Honey Bee dances. Well, wiggles, but it is her dance and ever since we carried (yes, carried) her out of the high-kill shelter where she was abandoned not only once (by her family), but twice (by the rescue that saved her brother and left her behind), she has been dancing. Sooooo...maybe not right away because she was so weak she could barely stand and she had a bad case of pneumonia and she looked at us like she wanted to give up, but after that... dancing! Once she found out what it is like to be loved and fed. Dancing! How great it is to play with your foster fur siblings, cats too, and how amazing it is to run and roll in the grass. Dancing! You would never know Miss Honey is 7 years young. She has the most bubby personality, plenty of energy for walks and hikes (though after she puts her dancing shoes away, a couch for snoozing is much appreciated) and you can't miss the fact that she's all Boxer. She loves to box when she plays and she loves cardboard, Kleenex boxes in particular, though maybe that isn't a Boxer thing? This sweet 60lb. lady loves affection and is happy just to wake up every day and we are happy that she brings all that joy to the OMD pack. The Bee is housebroken and crate trained. She loves her people and would especially like a Dad to follow around, and she would really enjoy the company of a sturdy dog friend who doesn't mind a few swift boxer paw swats to the face. Honey Bee is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and microchipped. If you have your dancing shoes ready, and a sofa for cuddling too, Honey Bee may just be your lifelong girl.
