LuLu's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

LuLu's Story...
Lulu was found wandering Detroit in terrible condition. She was emaciated, completely matted, and with various open wounds. LuLu also had a horribly ulcerated eye. She was never claimed and she has since fully recovered. Our vet estimated her age to be 6 years. She is up to date on vaccines, spayed and heartworm negative.
LuLu is not the nippy type. She's in a foster home with two dogs and does well. She is quite a diva, though, and will be boss. She will demand her space. Lulu loves her crate, bed, squeeker toys and sweaters. Shes housebroken and likes to sleep in. She's definitely not a morning pooch.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

LuLu, a Madison Heights Shih Tzu/Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Maltese for sale in Madison Heights, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Maltese dog from a breeder in Madison Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Madison Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Madison Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Maltese breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Madison Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
