Boromir's Story...
I’m Boromir, named after the brave character from J.R.R. Tolkein’s “Lord of the Rings” trilogy. The character after whom I’m named is a passionate defender of his kingdom, known as the Captain of the White Tower. This Boromir kitty wants to be the Captain of the Hearts of my Forever Family. I was initially shy when I first came to my FOHA foster home, but not now. Once I got to know my foster family, I showed myself to be full of love and cuddles to share. I’d do best with a family who will give me time to get to them know. Once I’m comfortable, like I am with my foster family, I like climbing up on shoulder so I can rub against faces and purr ever so loudly. I’m an active boy who loves to play…with any toy I can find. Want to win my heart? You just might do that through my stomach. Got treats? Then I want to get to know you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boromir, a Aldie Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Aldie, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Aldie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aldie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aldie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aldie paves the way for another one to be saved.
