Gabby's Story...
Hi there, I'm Gabby! I am an 8 month old, exuberant pit mix looking for a family to go on adventures with. My foster family has been working with me on my housebreaking and I almost got the hang of it! I am also crate trained and have a pretty reliable recall. I am good with dogs, and cats too! Some of my favorite activities include going on walks, playing with my toys, and lounging with my foster family. I am in need a forever family that is willing to help guide and train me so I can be a well mannered canine! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gabby, a Salem American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Salem, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
