My story

Mama Mia Maya

Good things come in small packages and this is very true for our newest snuggle bug Maya. Cuter then a button and round like a little bowling ball, Maya has been closet eating against her former family's wishes.
Maya was adopted from our rescue one year ago. Her owner recently passed away and his daughters were kind enough to make sure she came back to the rescue safe and sound. Maya's last moments with her owner were snuggled with him in his hospital bed watching the Superbowl game together.

Maya is being fostered in a quiet home but the foster dad is making sure Maya gets her walks and play time in too. A little weight had been gained so Maya will need a structured eating schedule and daily walks to get her girlish figure back. Maya recently had her teeth cleaned so those pearly whites are made to sparkle now.

Maya is not a fan of small children. Like some small dogs, they don't like things coming at them fast.
Maya does enjoy the outdoors, so a completely fenced yard will be required.

Maya is a 4 year old Beagle mix, 23 pounds, UTD on vaccinations, housebroken, spayed and micro chipped. Very quiet and LOVES her walks.
