Ruby's Story...
Ruby is guessed to be around 1 year old. She is a very sweet DSH female that loves to cuddle and talk to you when you are talking but she is quiet at night. She likes to be near you and will sleep beside you as well. She indicates that she has not always been treated nicely but melts when you touch her and her fear disappears. She will also give hugs and likes to groom you. She has not been exposed to other animals yet but indicates that she would be fine around other cats but possibly has not had exposure to dogs although she has not shown any aggression. She is scheduled to be spayed on January 17th. She is UTD on vaccinations. If you are interested in giving Ruby a loving, forever home, please call Melissa at (989) 325-1889 for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ruby, a Caro Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Caro, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Caro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Caro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Caro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Caro paves the way for another one to be saved.
