Here's what the humans have to say about me:
File this one under WOW! Carter, we are thrilled to say, is ready for adoption. This young boy came to us less than two months ago in dire condition and has had an incredible recovery. Estimated to be almost two years old, Carter is sweet, happy, and has a soft temperament. He would love an active family and as a bonus, a canine buddy. Carter does well with other dogs and easy-going, playful cats.
He walks easily on a leash and has been mastering his house manners. We believe that Carter has been through quite a lot and thus we recommend ongoing soft, yet consistent training and confidence building. While he loves affection, people, and other animals, he’s not quite ready to be a social butterfly the first moment you meet him; he needs some time to warm up and be confident. Crate trained and house trained, Carter isn’t a huge fan of being left alone, so wouldn’t enjoy long hours in a crate each day. He wants to be by your side.
Carter will need continued support to finish his Demodex treatment but is otherwise healthy and of good weight. Sweet, bouncy Carter will be a wonderful active companion and bed warmer.
