Luna's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Luna's Story...

Luna is full of energy and loves to go to the beach, lives with 2 cats in her foster home and would be the perfect companion to someone who is moderately active, loves to cuddle and go for walks together. Luna may be older, but it takes a long time to develop such a sweet soul like she has.

  • German Shepherd Mix
  • 14 years young
  • House trained
  • Crate trained
  • Loves going for walks
  • Friendly with dogs

Loves people, is a very gentle golden girl with a lot of love to give. Her human left her at the shelter because she was "too old" and when I met her in the shelter she was shut down, depressed, filthy and could barely move due to her arthritis and hip pain. Today, she is happy, smiling and enjoying her daily walks and even taking stairs like a kid. A little love, vet care and the right medicine to fix her up and she's a new woman, a golden girl!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Luna, a Huntington Beach German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Huntington Beach, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Huntington Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntington Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntington Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntington Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
