Important Note

Cinder is best friends with Amber. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
Amber and Cinderella are a mother/daughter senior pair amd must be adopted together. Amber (black) is the mother and is approximately 15 years old. Cinder (black and white) is Amber ' s daughter and is approximately 10 years old. Don't let their age fool you!! They don't act a day over 5. Amber and her litter of puppies were taken into a rescue after being in a house fire many years ago. Cinder received severe burns in the fire and has some scars remaining. Amber was not injured in the fire. Cinder was adopted as a puppy and returned to the rescue many years later through no fault of her own. Poor Amber was never adopted and remained at the rescue. Several months ago their foster momma received some news that forced her to place all of her dogs. We took Amber and Cinder into our rescue. They haven't been a minute of trouble since they arrived. They like to go out and potty and get some fresh air and then come back inside and nap on their bed and chew on their bone. Older dogs are SO easy!! They are both very low key and low energy,  although Cinder does take a playing spell occasionally. These girls are so close. They always like to lay together and are constantly by each others side. They both love everyone and are good with other dogs and cats. These girls are healthy and have plenty of life left in them. They are looking for a home where they can live out their golden years in. They are currently being fostered in Tennessee,  but will be transport to the Northeast to an approved adopter. Please email us at brighthopeadoptions@gmail.com for an application.

About Bright Hope Animal Rescue - D.C. Chapter

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a small 501C3 non profit rescue based out of East Tennessee. Our goal is to get the dogs out of the South where euthanasia rates are the highest.

Our Adoption Process...

The first step to adoption is to send us an email to receive a link to our online application. Once the application is received, it will be followed up by a phone interview if we feel that your home could potentially be a good fit for one of our dogs. The phone interview will be followed up by vet and personal reference checks as well as a home interview. Our adoption donations are between $275-$300 and there is a transport fee of $145. All adopters are required to sign an adoption contract.
