Hello, my name is Jackie, and I am a sweet, gorgeous, velvety soft Maine Coon/ black domestic medium hair little girl who was born in about May 2016. My most outstanding physical features are my big fluff of a tail and my mesmerizing golden eyes. Are you surprised that a Maine Coon is black? Well, just watch the attached 3-minute video that appeared on Animal Planet or google 'Cats 10 Maine Coon,' and you will find that we come in white to black with all colors including tabby in between!
I just love people and adore being petted and brushed. When I crawl up in my foster mom's lap to snuggle, I turn on my purr motor, which sounds like a perking coffeepot. I love to plant my pheromones all over her by rubbing on her legs and body. I want her to be sure and know that she is mine, and I am hers!
Even though I have a quiet, affectionate side, I am no couch potato! I am a high energy kitty who loves to play with my catnip mice, balls with bells, and wand toys. In fact, my foster mom had difficulty photographing me for my online postings because I was constantly moving as I played.
I would do best in a home where my new owner can spend time with me. But I'm so sweet and sociable, that won't be hard if your schedule is open for me. I'm anxious to meet my new family, so I hope that you will come meet me today!
