My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bruce! Bruce is a shy guy but warms up quickly. He is currently being fostered with another dog and gets along well with his foster sister. Bruce is submissive to other dogs and is just a lover. He loves to be with his person. Bruce is very affectionate toward his foster parents, crates nicely, is potty trained, and loves exploring outdoors in the fenced backyard. He also rides easily in a car and is learning some leash skills. Bruce likes treats and is treat motivated. Bruce is up to date on his vaccines and neutered. We tested Bruce with children and he was scared but accepted treats placed on the ground in front of him. In short time, we believe Bruce would be okay with respectful children over the age of 12 or those younger children who have experience with dogs. Bruce would probably do well with a retired person who is home more often and wants a lap dog, or with a calmer family who want the love and loyalty of a great dog. Once Bruce warms up, he's very loyal and likes to be with his person/people much of the time. He will be microchipped prior to adoption.
