Missy's Story...
Milly is beautiful young female shepherd that we pulled from the kill shelter in TN. She is sweet 1,5 year old very friendly dog who love attention and gets excited and grateful to any human who spend time with her.
She is wonderful sweet and very balanced female. Good with dogs big and small and all kinds of humans:) We would like her to be in a family who have prior experience with the breed as she will need training and exercise like any German Shepherd.

Please fill out the adoption application on our website www.helpingpawrescue.org if you are interested in adopting Missy

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Missy, a Mechanicsburg German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Mechanicsburg, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Mechanicsburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mechanicsburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mechanicsburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mechanicsburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
