My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***As long as this pup is listed online, we are still accepting applications. Applications will be reviewed for the best possible forever home.

Estimated age as of 1/11/17 - 7 weeks
Weight as of 1/11/17 - appx 9 lbs
Estimated size as adult - medium/large

Nate and his three litter mates were rescued from a kill shelter on 1/11/17. From the moment they got to their foster home, Nate and Nizzle were the two bravest of the bunch. Nate is such an adorable rascal - he's very playful and inquisitive and loves to aggravate his three sisters (as most brothers do!). He's also the most energetic. When everyone else has tired and settles down for a puppy snooze, he's still exploring and looking for his next adventure. When he finally is ready to nap, he looks for the closest person to snuggle up with.

The only information we were able to get on the mama dog is that she's a mixed breed. No information at all was given on the sire (if the original "owners" even know what dog(s) fathered the litter). These precious pups appear to have boxer in the mix but with no details on the parents, that is only a guess based on appearance. Likewise, we can only guess at what the adult size will be. Nesbit and Nizzle are much smaller and have a different appearance than Nora and Nate. There may have been different sires for the litter.

Nate is scheduled to be neutered and microchipped on February 1 and will be ready for a furever home on February 3. He is current on vaccinations, dewormed, and treated for fleas/ticks. The adoption donation is $165.

If you're interested in giving Nate a loving FOREVER home, please complete an application via our website, www.cofas.org. If you have questions, you can email me (his foster mom) at fostermomjudy@gmail.com.
**Please note that submitting an adoption application is the first required step in the adoption process and must be done before a meeting will be scheduled.
