Hattie's Story...
Introducing Hattie and her sisters. Bettye, Myrtle, Ester, Gladys and Hattie are sweet little souls - 5 little ladies with character and stories. They've lived more life in their young 8 weeks than some dogs have lived in much longer.

Sadly Hattie and her sisters were living outside and were brought to our attention by a local animal welfare group. With temperatures dropping, we knew that we needed to help get them out of their situation.

Hattie is living in a foster home and learning what it's like to live the good life. Her adoption fee is $500 and will include her spay surgery, up to date vaccinations, microchip, health certificate and transportation from her foster home in Memphis to your area upon adoption. Please note, these pups will not be available to travel to their adoptive homes until around the first week of February, but we are accepting applications now.

Please contact us if you are interested in learning more about Hattie or her sisters.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hattie, a Nyack Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Nyack, or seeking a Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Nyack.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nyack already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nyack breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nyack paves the way for another one to be saved.
