Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Say hello to bubbly Rootbeer! This sweet boy came to EARS with a badly broken leg. Our wonderful veterinarian was able to save the leg, and after several weeks with a brace, he is now completely healed and ready for adoption. Rootbeer is such a happy and playful little guy! He is in a home with 6 other dogs of all ages and sizes, and he loves all of them. He is also perfectly content to keep himself busy with all the toys laying around! He loves people just as much as he loves other dogs. When Rootbeer is not following his foster mom around the house, he likes to snuggle up in his comfy bed or on a warm lap. He does very well on walks and car rides. He is very well behaved and completely house-trained. Although his foster family adores him, they know that he deserves a home where he gets all the attention he deserves. Would you like to give Rootbeer that home?
We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.
