This beautiful cat is Satine, and she is an absolutely wonderful girl who will fit easily into the right home. She is an affectionate and laid-back kitty who gets along with almost everyone. When Satine first arrived in our care, she was in a temporary foster home with two cats, a small dog, and a pair of bunnies. She was comfortable with all of the animals right away and would even curl up and sleep with the bunnies at night. When Satine moved to her current foster home, she settled in very well and quickly became great friends with the two large dogs. She is comfortable around other animals, but prefers them to have a laid-back personality like her. She is not interested in playing or being energetic, she just wants some buddies to laze around with.
Not only is Satine comfortable with other pets, but she is very affectionate with people too. She's not a fan of children, so would prefer a quiet home, but she quickly warms up to any adult who is willing to give her attention. She has a very loud purr and just wants to be around her people. She follows her foster family around like a dog and loves to jump up and sleep on any lap she can find. She is a very easy-going girl and will be a wonderful addition to her new home.
A home with an older male cat (she prefers males to females) or a laid-back cat-savvy dog would be a great fit for this girl. She will also be comfortable in a home as an only pet, as long as she gets lots of human attention. Satine is an indoor-only cat and is middle-aged, spayed, and vaccinated.
