Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Harley is a sweet 9 month old neutered male who is an energetic Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix. He weighs about 15 pounds, is housetrained, has a smooth coat that's not very thick and sheds very little. Harley is very intelligent & friendly. He was raised from 6 weeks old with his male litter mate, Peanut (also available see separate posting), and two other dogs that are both under 5 lbs, plus an 18 lb cat. So, he gets along with other dogs & even cats! He's not an aggressive male. He has never met a stranger, but if a stranger enters my house, he lets me know it until greeted by the person. He's an excellent alarm to unusual noises! He's better than my alarm system.
Harley is crate trained. He sleeps all night in a large wire crate with his male litter mate, Peanut. Occasionally, if I get home & feed them late, one of my Jack Russell/Chihuahua mixes will bark during the night to let me know he needs a potty break! But, usually they sleep all night. If they go out in the night, they return to their bed and go right back to sleep. Harley is micro-chipped, neutered, up to date on all shots, on heart worm prevention meds, is doggie door trained, and leashed trained with a halter (he's never had a collar on). During the day, he is left in a small area of my house with his litter mate, Peanut. They are old enough now that they do not usually have accidents. They are left 8-10 hours each day.
My prayer is that is that some kind, understanding, patient person will love, keep, and raise him (and hopefully, his litter mate, Peanut), forever. No kids.
