Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My foster mom says my name is Bert, which I’ve come to know & love. I was found as a stray in Arlington Heights and the shelter that housed me decided that my time was up and I was going to be put to sleep until CDR saved me. I am a very “Happy-Go-Lucky” dog about one year’s old and love all people and adore playing with every dog I meet. I’m working on my “Potty-Training” and my foster mom says I’m about 90% there but I still need to be crated when she leaves the house. I don’t mind being crated as long as I get a treat and have some toys to play with. Being the puppy that I am, I like to jump on people so my foster mom says I need to work on my training. But I do very well on my basic commands like sit, stay, and taking a treat nicely. I think little kids would not be a good fit for me right now since I haven’t mastered not jumping on people yet. I love to run and play in my foster’s backyard so a fenced in yard is a must for me. My foster mom says I’m such a good, lovable baby and the person or family who is willing to take me into their home will be a very lucky person/family since I’m one of a kind!
XOXOXO-Bert
