Cutie Patootie Alert!!! Milo came into this world as a tiny speck of a puppy and decided that, as long as he's here, he's gonna GO for it!!! Walk? Why bother when you can run! Relax on the couch? Not if there's a toy in the room! Bigger dogs? Who you calling "Small"??!! At only about 8 pounds, and just 4 - 5 months old, Milo packs more personality into his tiny body than anyone would think possible! But once you realize his beginnings, you'll be rooting for him, too!

Milo was surrendered by someone who had bought him as a baby and soon realized a living puppy requires a lot more work than a Beanie baby. Sadly for him, he spent the first couple of months living almost 24/7 in a crate because the person couldn't deal with a baby, but since he's gotten a taste of freedom he's been busy making up for lost time! It's not that he's hyper -- he's just acting age-appropriate for a lively 4 month old puppy who is finally learning all life has to offer!!

Milo is a very affectionate boy and gives kisses while holding your face in his little paws, like he wants to make sure you get every one. He loves to snuggle beside you when he's done playing . . . but "When he's done playing" is the big question because this boy LOVES to play!! He gets along great with the foster's dogs and cats, and he loves toys -- the squeakier the better!! He runs and hops on his toys like he's attacking them -- his foster mom says he looks like a fox hopping on its prey! Really cute to watch!! Milo will benefit from a very active lifestyle, or doggie day care, or another very active dog in the house who also likes to play (no couch potatoes, please!) He's right in the thick of his teething phase and to him, everything is fair game -- fingers and toes included!! -- so we think he's best placed in a home with older children. Because of his unfortunate beginnings, he does not like to be left alone, but we're working on getting him more confident. Still, we think he'll do best with someone who is able to work from home, or who has another dog in the home for full time companionship. Milo is about 4 months old, he weighs under 10 pounds and is a very healthy boy. We can't be sure what his true mix is, so if you need a hypo-allergenic puppy, all we will guarantee is that Milo will not be allergic to YOU!
