My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ben is a sweet and goofy adult male Havanese about 5 years old. He had a rough past and was found as a stray with matted long fur you could barely see his eyes. Luckily he was rescued from the shelter. He is a scrappy dog, tough on the outside and loving on the inside. Ben is house trained, crate trained, good with other dogs and needs an owner who understands he has a bit of emotional baggage and a patient owner with some dog experience. He is such a beautiful soul and needs a loving home. Ben is good with other dogs that are more submissive and cats are ignored. He would like nothing more than a loving, respectful human to bond with strongly, and protect. He is used to having a fenced yard to run around in. Adoption fee is $320.

Ben needs regular grooming/haircuts and does well with being brushed! He prefers adult women over men or children.
