Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We found out about an abandoned litter of puppies a while back, and one of our fosters reached out to us to help them. They were motherless, and living in an apartment by themselves. That was the story we were told, but, with all stories, it may or may not be true. What is true, is that we saved the litter of 7, and now they are ready to find their forever homes!! This is Athena, named after the Greek Goddess of the reason and intelligence. She is about 7 weeks, and weighs about 10-12 pounds. She is the adventurous one, and loves exploring everything. She is brave to try new things. She is also the energetic one, loves to run around playing like crazy. She is affectionate and loving, and enjoys being held and cuddled. She gets along with the dogs in the house, and plays well with them and her siblings. We are looking for families that have knowledge and/or experience with the breed or working type dogs. We want to make sure that Gaia gets what she needs as she grows into an adult dog.
As part of your adoption contract, you will be required to transport the puppy to complete his/her shots, as well as for their spay/neuter at a later date. While puppies are adorable and cute, they are a lot of work. They take time, dedication, and above all, commitment. They will require training (we give you 4 training sessions with us). The rescue strives to give you a puppy that has a good foundation for you to build upon. We are a FORCE FREE rescue. The adoption contract you will be signing specifically states that you agree to NEVER use any aversive methods nor tools like a shock, prong or choke collar. We are never sure about breed because we do not do DNA (we make our best guess), so if that is important to you, these puppies may not be the right choice for you. Please, consider everything when making a decision to adopt a puppy.
As part of your adoption package, each dog will be fully vaccinated (Da2PP, Rabies), have a microchip, and be spayed/neutered. You will receive 6 mths of HW preventative.You will receive a free bag of premium puppy food, as well as a gift card from Choice Pet Market. You will also receive a free complimentary physical exam with a vet. Training is MANDATORY and will be scheduled at a later date and place.
