Here's what the humans have to say about me:
8-year-old Squirrel lost her home when she was given to someone who didn’t want her. She’s been passed around a bit it doesn’t affect her personality. She is very social, friendly with kids and other cats, and low-maintenance. You can’t tell from the picture but Squirrel had to be shaved down due to fleas. She is a long haired brown tabby (or will be when her hair grows back) with pretty green eyes and a calm demeanor. She is spayed, petite, current on vaccines, chipped, and litterbox trained. Come say hi to the sweetest gal around: Squirrel!
Squirrel is now available for adoption at Petsmart Wolf Ranch where her adoption fee is $50.
The application/screening process for potential adopters usually takes about 24 hours except when it falls over a weekend or holiday, and then it may take two or three days. We ask that potential adopters please be patient with us; we are only trying our best to ensure that the homeless pets in our care get the best possible home. All cats and dogs adopted from our shelter are spayed or neutered (as Texas law mandates).
Our adoption fee is currently $70 for non-residents and $75 for residents*.
The adoption fee includes:
spaying/neutering
vaccinations (appropriate to species and age)
heartworm or feline leukemia test (appropriate to species and age)
de-worming medication
microchip (a tiny ID tag inserted under the skin, which allows your pet to be returned to you quickly)
There is a $5 Pet License fee added to the adoption fee if the adopter lives inside the City Limits of Georgetown.
