Lawrence is a male Havanese mix puppy only 4 months old. To say he is a handsome boy is an understatement. He is even more adorable in person. Lawrence has a silky soft, fluffy, gently curly coat that is non-shedding. His black and cream coloring is gorgeous, especially around his face and beautiful chocolate brown eyes. Lawrence currently weighs 12 pounds and should reach a bigger size full grown of about 20 pounds. Right now, he is all puppy. Lawrence is a sweet baby all the way and needs the comfort and reassurance of his people parents. He will puppy baby talk when he needs something or when he is nervous and wants to be held close and snuggled. Lawrence is very innocent and still unsure of the world. He is doing great with his potty training but is still learning how to walk on leash. Lawrence loves the company of other smaller, gentle dogs and is cutely playful. He is a gentle soul himself and will get scared in loud or rowdy environments. When out and about, Lawrence still asks to be held in your arms where he feels the safest. Of course, this is fine since he is so dang cute and cuddly. Lawrence will thrive in a home where he can be pampered, fussed over, and where his family is home to help him learn about the world and feel secure. His personality is such that he will most likely bond extremely closely to those he knows and loves. We would not recommend Lawrence for younger children at this point because he will get too scared. He needs a loving family and maybe even another more secure dog in the household to show him the way. This young pup has had a rough start in life and possibly was not treated very well. Lawrence was rescued from a very high-volume/high-kill shelter where he was brought in stray. He has been vet checked and is very healthy. Lawrence is ready for his new forever loving home today!
Lawrence’s adoption donation is $525 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Lawrence is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Linda and Tom and is ready for his forever home.
