My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Bandit and I am a Yorkie boy that was rescued from an Amish Puppy Mill. I am still a little timid, but they say I am already making progress! I am 6 years old and weigh 8 lbs. I can’t BELIEVE how much space I have here to run around…a playground and everything! Wow…I never knew all of this was out here because I was kept in a really small space and nobody ever loved on me. They just wanted me to make more and more babies. I am scheduled to be neutered on January 30th. I feel like I just got a new life! They are telling me it’s going to be alright, and I just need a family who will be patient with me and love me on my timetable…you know…let me come to you so I won’t be so scared. Do you have a little room in your heart for a boy that never had a real home or a yard with grass to run in? Or most important, a family to love him? Please give me time to trust and know that I will be grateful for anything you give me…a soft bed, a little rub and lots and lots of soft voices to soothe me and let me know it’s going to be OK. No more puppy milling and I will always be safe and warm. Please take me home and I can learn to love you :-)
