Tom & Jerry's Story...
Tom and Jerry are a bonded pair of gerbil brothers and look identical. They love burrowing in their bedding, running in their wheel, as well as exploring the house in their ball. During the day you will often find them snuggling together taking a cat nap or busily rearranging their living space.

Tom and Jerry are very happy to be held and will sit contentedly on your lap. They are best coaxed out of their aquarium with a small treat. Though they are too fragile to be handled by very small children, they seem to coexist well in the same home.

These little guys are very entertaining and will always be up to something super cute or super goofy for you to fall in love with.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tom & Jerry, a Manhattan Gerbil was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Gerbil for sale in Manhattan, or seeking a Gerbil from a breeder in Manhattan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manhattan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manhattan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Gerbil breeders who help with Gerbil rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Manhattan paves the way for another one to be saved.
